Soul Proprietor is a boutique animation studio founded in 2015 by Xilia Faye and Ben Luce. With decades of combined industry experience, we specialize in 2D animation for documentaries, short films, series, podcast, music videos, brand design, medical explainers (geared towards both professionals and patient populations) and prescription medical apps. We are a small team of two people, both on the Autism spectrum, who create award-winning content equal to that of larger studios. We pride ourselves on being on-time and on-budget. Passion for a project we are working on eclipses all else. From art direction to storyboarding, background design, and animation - we provide a full turnkey product. Our vision reflects our values, and 25% of all profits are donated to charities that enable other artists to grow and thrive. We particularly work to fund arts and science scholarships.

We work with many studios including Awesome and Modest, Prone, Cartuna, SpiffTV, LAIKA, and House Special, as well as many musicians, comedians, and podcasters.
We've worked on many films, including Kubo and the Two Strings, Ascension, The Ride Ahead (My Disability Roadmap), Marvel Behind the Mask, A Head Shorter, Boy Genius, The American Dream and Other Fairytales, and Moonlight Sonata.
We've also had a hand in many series as part of a team of animators, including Lady and the Dale, Stamped From The Beginning, Purgatony, and Magical Girl Friendship Squad.
